"Which Character" Personality Quiz

I came across a personality quiz that aims to identify fictional characters that align best with your personality based on how you score during a series of personality related questions. If you're interested in learning about the quiz or taking it yourself, you can do so here . Below at the top 100 characters that were generated as my result. They're ranked starting from the highest percentage of similarities to those less alike. You can view my full list of results  here if you're curious, but in all honestly I think the top 100 should be more than enough entries to paint the picture.  The characters that I have come across while consuming entertainment mediums, do indeed seem like characters that I would gravitate towards as being similar to myself. (I've highlighted them in yellow)  But there are a lot of unknowns on the list that I can't speak for.  Elsie Hughes  (Westworld): 91% Kyle Broflovski  (South Park): 89% Rita  (The Handmaid's Tale): 89% ...

Pirates of the Caribbean

Image
Notes: Full disclosure with this one. I had originally wanted to discuss Pirates of the Caribbean on my blog way back in 2017 and I'd have had a rough draft for what I wanted to talk about sitting around this whole time. I've decided that now is the time to finally finish up what I wanted to say and publish the post. Obviously, this was before the whole Depp vs. Heard and Disney drama. So, what I've written remains in the context of that and not in the events that have happened since, savvy?  __________________________________________________________________________________ It appears that whenever Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean franchise is bought up, that you can sort out peoples reactions into three groups. Firstly, there those who love it; the people who could have grown up with the franchise and/or are invested enough to be involved to some extent in the wider fandom community surrounding it. Secondly, you have those who are the exact opposite, they despise i...

Pokemon Card Collection Storage Tips

Image
Well, the time has come to discuss the Pokemon Trading Card Game on my blog. I've been collecting Pokemon cards since I was about 8 years old. I did stop for a few years but with last years 20th anniversary celebrations for the Pokemon franchise being shoved at me from all directions, I somehow found myself purchasing a Mythical Collection: Mew Box at my local EB Games one day. Just like that, my love for collecting the cards was ignited once again. The one thing I had to do when I decided that I would get back into collecting the cards was find a more efficient and better way to store them. As an 8-12 year old I found that I was keeping all my spares in a tin and the ones that I liked or were rare in an unsorted binder full of 9-pocket sleeves. It was not the most convenient system.... Not even close. So I did a lot of research around the web. There are some fantastic Poke-tubers who specialise in PTCG related content and some of them have made videos about how they hav...

Welcome!

Greetings! You have stumbled upon my humble blog. My name is Toreshii. Are you looking for gaming content? Random ramblings of an Australian female nerd? Then you're in the right place! Lets get real for a moment though. Why start this blog? Good question, everyone seems to have a blog these days so why do I need one too? Well, I started up a youtube channel last year and I was having  fun opening my Pokemon cards and discussing the TCG and doing some gaming series. I mean, sure it was fun and I enjoyed it, but in the end it just wasn't for me. Part of me stopped my youtube channel because I was having trouble with my video editing software, but an even larger part of me simply found that talking and presenting my ideas/content in videos just wasn't working out for me. I just can't do the whole commentate and game thing at the same time very well. I've been keeping a personal blog since I was a teenager, so blogging is no new medium to me. So I decided that my con...
